Maureen Levy Wins Prestigious IACP Dublin Regional Award

Honours Commitment to the Counselling and Psychotherapy Profession

At the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) 7th Annual Conference held in the Galway Bay Hotel over the weekend, Maureen Levy, MIACP was honoured with the Dublin Regional Award.

The IACP Regional Awards recognise an IACP accredited member who makes a notable contribution to the profession of counselling and psychotherapy in their local community and region.

Speaking today regarding this year’s awards, newly elected IACP Cathaoirleach Séamus Sheedy stated:

“I would like to congratulate Maureen Levy, our Dublin Regional awardee. Maureen is recognised for her warmth, knowledge, intelligence, and commitment to her clients, her longstanding work in the community has made a significant difference to many over the years.”

Ms Levy is a fully IACP accredited counsellor and psychotherapist, trainer, teacher, and facilitator with more than 35 years’ experience working with individuals and groups in a wide range of settings.

Commenting following the award IACP member Maureen Levy noted:

“I am delighted to have received the IACP regional Award 2022 for the Dublin Region. I would like to thank the Dublin Regional Committee for their nomination. I would also like to offer my congratulations to all those who received awards at the annual conference.” 

The award criteria also include IACP members who recognise innovations in service delivery, contribute to diversity and members who make contributions to increasing awareness of standards of counselling and psychotherapy locally.
